The experience

You leave Cagliari in an air-conditioned minivan with a certified guide who drives. After roughly an hour, you arrive at Su Giudeu, the golden beach of Chia, where dunes and junipers frame the water. This is the first stop for photos and time at the shore. The landscape here is what makes the southwestern coast distinct: white sand, the characteristic dunes behind the beach, and the clarity of the water itself.

In the afternoon, after hours at the seaside, the tour continues to Tuerredda bay. This is one of Sardinia's most photographed beaches, and the stop includes time to walk and photograph the bay's shape and the view across it. On the drive between the two beaches and during the journey back to Cagliari, you pass Santa Gilla pond and the smaller pond behind the dunes at Chia, where pink flamingos and other bird species are often visible. The return to Cagliari takes approximately an hour.

An umbrella is supplied to set up independently at the beach. The guide handles the logistics and the entrance ticket to Tuerredda (€3 per person, included in the operator's arrangement). The full day runs eight hours from pickup to return.
