The experience

Your sommelier guide picks you up by minivan from your Cagliari hotel or port and drives 20 minutes to the winery while introducing you to Sardinian wine culture and territory. Once there, you walk through the production area to see how the wine is made: the steel vats for fermentation, different tank types, and the barrel room where wine ages. The guide explains what happens at each stage so you understand what goes into the bottle before you taste it.

In the tasting room, you sample 3 different wines paired with local products: Sardinian bread, cheese, olive oil and salami. The sommelier teaches you the right way to taste (how to evaluate color, aroma and flavor), and how to match wine with food so each one tastes better together. This is not a passive sip.
