The experience

The morning starts with an ATV quad bike ride on a 250cc engine across rugged off-road terrain: muddy slopes, rocky ground, rivers and rice fields. You operate the bike yourself, so the ride is as much about your control and nerve as it is about the landscape. Rain and water crossings are part of the route, so expect to get soaked. That's built into the experience, not a hazard to avoid. The ride lasts around 60 minutes and covers natural scenery most visitors never see from a road.

After the ATV portion, you transfer by private air-conditioned car to the snorkeling site, a drive of roughly 1 to 1.5 hours from the ATV area. A local boat takes you to two snorkeling spots with clear, calm water and diverse marine life. You spend about 2 hours in and around the water, moving between the two sites. The boat is described as safe and locally operated, and all snorkel gear (mask, fins, snorkel) is provided.

The day wraps with a local lunch (fried rice) and mineral water before the return to your hotel. Hotel pickup and drop-off bookend the whole experience, so transport is handled from start to finish.
