The experience

The day starts with hotel pickup at 9am and a 20-minute drive to Tanjung Benoa water sports center in the southeast of the island. By 10:30am you're suited up for the Sea Walker, a soft dive system that lets you walk along the seafloor without scuba certification. You breathe normally through a helmet while a guide watches you spot fish and marine life below the surface.

After Sea Walker comes the Donut Boat, a four-person inflatable raft towed behind a speedboat that rocks and splashes through the water as it accelerates. Then you move to the Banana Boat, a longer raft where small groups ride together over the waves like kids on a fairground ride. Both are fast, wet and built for the group energy of the moment.

You'll have time to shower and change clothes in the facility before the driver takes you back to your hotel around midday. The session includes a professional instructor, a bottle of mineral water, access to changing rooms and lockers, and insurance cover. Bring a change of clothes and casual wear.
