The boat leaves Lovina Beach at dawn when dolphins are most active in the shallows. You'll cruise alongside them in their natural habitat (close enough to watch them feed and move through the water) from a traditional Balinese boat. The glass-bottom section lets you see what's happening below the surface without leaving the deck. Breakfast comes after the boat returns to shore at Coffee Nosky Restaurant, a beachside spot known for its spread, and you'll have tea or coffee while the sun is already up over the mountains behind you.

The pickup is early: 3:00 AM from Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Uluwatu or Nusa Dua. 3:30 AM from Ubud. That timing is what puts you on the water when the dolphins are hunting. The drive to Lovina takes about two hours, so you arrive as the sky is still dark. Life jackets are provided, and the boat ride itself lasts long enough to see the dolphins properly, not a quick pass.
