The experience
You board at Jimbaran and head south along the coast toward Uluwatu, passing Muaya, Raffles, Tegal Wangi, Rock Bar Ayana, Balangan, Dreamland and Padang Padang beaches. The route is built around the sunset hitting the cliffs at the right angle. The timing is the whole point. Along the way you watch planes taking off and landing from the airport, and if conditions align, spot dolphins and turtles in the water. A guide travels with you and handles the boat. Life jackets and a medical box are on board.
If you're a confident swimmer and want to go in, you can ask the guide for permission and take a dip beside the boat. Most travelers stay aboard with a camera. The three-hour window is tight enough that the whole arc (departure, the beach run, the sunset moment, the return) fits one evening without eating into the rest of your plans.
When you're back on land, a seafood dinner caps the tour. Cold beverages and snacks come during the cruise. The operator can handle dietary restrictions if you mention them when you book.
What’s included
- Life jacket and medical box.
- English-speaking guide.
- snacks, cold beverage and mineral water during the cruise.
- seafood dinner after you return.
