The experience

You start the morning with hotel pickup at 7:30 AM and arrive at the meeting point by 10:00 AM for briefing. If you don't have a diving certificate, the instructor walks you through dive theory, equipment setup, safety codes and sea conditions over coffee. Then you practice in the pool until everything clicks. Certified divers skip the classroom and head straight to the boat. Either way, a certified local instructor accompanies you for both dives.

The first dive takes you to the coral garden by shuttle vehicle and boat, where you explore the reef using one tank. You'll see various fish species, coral formations and plankton that inhabit the site. After you surface, you return to the meeting point to rest, shower and eat lunch with juice, coffee or tea at the restaurant. The second dive heads to a different location: the USAT Liberty, a cargo ship that sank during wartime decades ago. This wreck dive challenges your courage as you navigate the structure and its marine life.

The full day runs about ten hours from pickup to drop-off. Transport includes a car shuttle from your hotel and a boat shuttle to the dive sites, plus a porter to help with gear. All diving equipment, entrance tickets and insurance are included. You return to your hotel by late afternoon.
