You’ll snorkel two vibrant spots at Bali’s Blue Lagoon with a local guide, then recharge over an Indonesian lunch before chasing waterfalls at Kanto Lampo and Suwat. Expect laughter, real conversation, and quiet jungle pools — plus hotel pickup so all you have to do is show up ready for adventure.
I didn’t expect the water to be that clear at Blue Lagoon — you could see every flicker of color from the fish darting below. Our guide, Wayan, handed me a mask and grinned when I hesitated about the fins (I’m not exactly graceful). He explained everything in this gentle way, and before I knew it, we were out on a little boat headed for the first snorkeling spot. The salt hit my lips right away; it’s funny how quickly you forget that taste until you’re back in the ocean. Tanjung Jepun was even better — more coral, more flashes of yellow and blue. My mask fogged up once and Wayan just laughed and showed me how to fix it with a bit of spit. Classic.
After rinsing off (showers are right there), we sat down for lunch at Topi Inn in Padangbai. I still think about that plate of nasi campur — spicy sambal, something sweet I couldn’t name, all eaten with wet hair and sand still stuck to my ankles. It felt like everyone else there was just as sun-tired as us. Then our driver took us through villages where kids waved and roosters strutted around like they owned the place. The drive to Kanto Lampo waterfall was bumpy but short; you could hear the water before you saw it, echoing through thick green.
Kanto Lampo isn’t huge but it’s loud — water splashing over black rocks in these messy ribbons. There were a few locals taking photos and one guy offered to show us the best spot for standing under the falls (I got soaked in seconds). After that we went on to Suwat Waterfall, which is tucked even deeper into the trees. There’s this bamboo raft floating on the pool — I tried paddling but mostly spun in circles while my friend laughed from the shore. It’s quieter there, almost nobody else around except some dragonflies hovering above the water.
By late afternoon we were heading back toward Ubud (or wherever your hotel is), windows down, hair still damp. I kept thinking about those flashes of fish from earlier — how small moments like that stick with you way longer than perfect photos ever do.
Your day includes private hotel pickup and drop-off anywhere nearby Ubud or South Bali areas, boat transfers out to both Blue Lagoon and Tanjung Jepun snorkeling spots with all gear provided by a local guide, shower facilities after swimming, Indonesian lunch at Topi Inn in Padangbai village, entry fees for both Kanto Lampo and Suwat Waterfalls (including use of the bamboo raft), plus bottled water throughout before returning comfortably to your hotel by evening.
