The experience

The driver picks you up from your hotel, Gurugram, Noida or the airport and heads into Delhi as the sun sets. The tour moves through the city's wide streets by private AC vehicle, stopping to walk around India Gate, which fills with evening walkers, and then Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, a Sikh temple with historical weight. You pass the President's Palace by car (no stop, no photography, because of security protocol), then move on to Laxmi Narayan Temple and ISKCON Temple once they open in the evening. Connaught Place, one of Delhi's oldest markets in the Lutyens' design, rounds out the route. You'll walk a moderate amount and climb some stairs, so wear comfortable shoes.
