A three-hour snorkeling adventure in Roatan's northern waters with three stops: a starfish area, the blue channel coral reef system, and a sunken shipwreck. Hotel or port pickup is included, along with snorkel gear, a local guide in English or Spanish, and round-trip boat transport between stops. Water, juice and fruit are provided, and you can relax at the operator's restaurant after the tour ends.

The Experience

The day starts with pickup from your hotel or the cruise port, followed by a 30 to 40 minute island drive through the Big Bight community to meet your guides at the boat. You'll get fitted with a mask, fins, vest and snorkel—all in good condition—before heading out to the first stop: a starfish area in clear, warm water where you can see the sea stars up close and take in views of Roatan's mountains from the ocean.

From there, the boat moves to the blue channel, a section of reef packed with colorful coral and marine life. The third stop is a sunken shipwreck near a well-known resort, which many visitors describe as a singular experience. Between stops, your guide handles navigation and timing while you focus on what's below the surface. The whole snorkeling portion runs three hours.

After you're back on shore, you can shower and change in the facilities, then sit down for drinks and local beers at the restaurant. Water, juice and fresh fruit are available throughout the day. The return transfer to your hotel or port is included, so there's no separate ride to arrange at the end.
