Swim in sea caves and white-cliff coves only a private yacht can reach

A private half-day morning sailing cruise around Milos takes you to four stops (Kalogries Beach, Sykia cave, Kleftiko Beach and Klima fishing village) with a dedicated captain and hostess aboard. The yacht carries only your group, so the itinerary adapts to what you want; freshly prepared lunch, snorkeling gear, wine and beer are included; the boat has WiFi and a restroom on board.

The experience

You arrive at the dock with a free morning and board a modern sailing yacht reserved entirely for your party. A captain and hostess greet you, and the boat heads out toward Kalogries Beach, where the water is exceptionally clear and calm: your first stop for swimming. From there, the route moves to Sykia cave, a sea cave accessible only by boat, with a hidden beach inside and natural skylight cutting through the rock. This is a photo stop. The cave's scale and the light shift are the kind of thing you cannot see from shore.

Kleftiko Beach is the main event: dramatic white cliffs rise from the water, and the boat anchors for swimming, snorkeling and lunch. The crew prepares food on board, and wine, beer and soft drinks flow throughout the day. Snorkeling equipment is ready to use. The water depth and clarity here make it worth going under. After lunch and more time in the water, the final stop is Klima, a fishing village famous for its colorful syrmata: traditional boathouses built directly into the water's edge. The boat returns to port after roughly six and a half hours on the water, with most of that time spent at the stops themselves rather than in transit.

Because this is a private charter, the captain can adjust timing and stops based on what your group wants to do. If someone wants more time snorkeling at Kleftiko or prefers to skip Klima, that conversation happens on the boat. The crew handles the sailing and the meal prep. You handle the swimming, the snorkeling and the deciding.

Top questions

What languages is the tour guided in?

Live guide in English and Greek.

What happens if it rains?

It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.

What is Sykia cave like, and can you swim inside it?

Sykia cave is a sea cave with a hidden beach and natural skylight, accessible only by boat. It is a photo stop on the itinerary, so you can see the cave and its opening from the water. The stop itself is brief and focused on the view rather than extended swimming inside.

Do I need my own snorkeling gear, or is it provided?

Snorkeling equipment is provided and included in the cruise. You do not need to bring your own.

How much time do we spend actually swimming versus sailing between stops?

The cruise runs about six and a half hours total. Most of that time is spent at the four stops (Kalogries, Sykia cave, Kleftiko and Klima) swimming, snorkeling and eating. The remaining duration is spent sailing between them.

Can the itinerary be changed if our group wants to spend more time at one beach?

Because this is a private charter with a dedicated captain, the itinerary can be tailored to what your group wants. If you prefer to stay longer at Kleftiko or skip a stop, that can be arranged on the day.

Is there WiFi and a restroom on the boat?

Yes, WiFi and a restroom are both on board, so you can stay connected and have facilities during the six-and-a-half-hour cruise.
