The experience

The boat leaves Panermos Bay and heads south along the Cycladic coast, stopping at a series of natural, secluded bays before anchoring at Rina's Sea Cave. The cave itself is the draw. You swim inside it, explore hidden natural springs, or dive off the cliffs if the water and weather allow. Snorkeling gear and swimming aids are provided for all levels, so the water is accessible whether you're testing the shallows or going deeper.

After the cave and the swim, the boat anchors in a quiet bay chosen for the day's conditions. This is when the meal happens: grilled seafood, seasonal vegetables, fresh salad, starters and appetizers, all prepared on deck. The fish came from Captain Dimitris's nets that morning: no middlemen, no frozen stock, just what the sea gave up that day. The sea salt is hand-harvested from rocks near Panermos; the capers are wild-gathered; the lemons, oranges and oregano come from the crew's own trees and gardens. The olive oil is theirs too.
