Mykonos half-day cruise to Rhenia and Delos: Swim and snorkel
Sail to two islands, swim in light-blue water, and eat Greek food on the boat
A half-day cruise from Mykonos sails to Rhenia and Delos islands, where you swim and snorkel in clear waters, explore ancient ruins on Delos, and eat a Greek pita wrap and drink onboard. The five-hour trip suits travelers with limited time in Mykonos or those who prefer a morning or afternoon departure over a full-day excursion. A skipper and crew guide the boat. Snorkeling gear is provided.
The experience
The cruise departs Mykonos and heads to Rhenia first, where you swim and snorkel in the shallow, light-blue water: no ruins here, just the chance to float and cool off. Then the boat sails to Delos, the ancient birthplace of Apollo, where you can wade ashore and walk the ruins at your own pace (entrance fee paid on site). The crew serves a Greek pita wrap (meat or vegetarian), and a drink while you're on deck, and sunscreen and towels are on hand.
The boat itself is either the Andreas (an 89-foot gulet that holds up to 40 people) or the Atlantis (72 feet, up to 30 people), depending on group size. Both are wide and comfortable enough that even at capacity, there's room to lie back and rest between swims. The five-hour window means you're back in Mykonos by early afternoon or evening, leaving the rest of your day free. Snorkeling equipment is included. Bring your own swimsuit, hat and sunscreen, and a light jacket if you're visiting in shoulder season.
Two booking options are available: the cruise alone, or the cruise with hotel pickup and drop-off from your Mykonos accommodation. If you choose the transfer option, confirm your valid phone number when you book so the crew can contact you with pickup details. Groups larger than 15 travelers need to book a second cruise for the overflow.
