The experience
The boat itself is the draw here: a 10-meter wooden hull, fully restored and fitted with an eco-friendly engine, built to move slowly enough that you can actually see the coastline. You board at the security gate outside your cruise ship, then ride a van to the departure point. The south coast of Mykonos is the wind-protected side, which matters when you're on the water: the crew chose it deliberately because the north gets rough. Two stops for swimming break up the sailing, and at the second one the hostess brings out snacks to go with your wine.
The hostess speaks English and knows the island. Ask her about the history or where locals actually go. You'll pass Psarou Beach, where the Nammos Beach Bar sits, and cruise by Paradise Beach for photos. It's the party beach, but you're just passing, not stopping there. The deck has space to sunbathe. There's also interior cabin space if you need shade. Unlimited Greek wine and ouzo flow throughout, plus soft drinks and water. Infants can come in a pram, and the tour suits all fitness levels since you're on a boat the whole time.
Passport details and your ship name are required 48 hours before departure. Let the crew know about allergies or dietary needs by then too. The 5-hour total includes the 4 hours on the water plus the van rides. Alcohol is for passengers 18 and up.

Is this one for you?Book this tour if you want to leave Mykonos town behind for the day and spend time on the water rather than on crowded beaches: the boat's south-coast route and two swimming stops fit inside a cruise port call, and the wooden hull and protected anchorages mean you're not fighting rough seas.
