Quadbike, Waterfall, and Botanical Gardens

- Visit Asenema Waterfall
- Enjoy lunch at hotel
- Explore Aburi Botanical Gardens
The experience
You operate the quad bike yourself on forest paths and dirt roads through the Eastern Region, passing vibrant villages and lush hills. Training, helmets, and safety gear are provided before you ride, so no prior experience is required. The guide leads the group through scenic on and off-road terrain, controlling the pace and route so you focus on the ride itself.
The day breaks into three distinct stops. Asenema Waterfall is a short nature walk into a serene setting surrounded by tropical greenery. You can photograph it, take a quick dip in the cool water, or simply sit by the cascading falls. Aburi Botanical Gardens, established in 1890 as a center for plant research, sits in the Aburi hills with views across the surrounding valleys. You'll walk among exotic flowers, shrubs, and majestic trees. Between the two, you'll also visit the historic Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm, where a guide explains how cocoa came to Ghana and shows you the trees and the process from bean to chocolate.
Lunch happens at a hotel or resort with a choice of local or international dishes, giving you time to rest after the morning's riding and exploration. The air-conditioned vehicle transports you between stops, and pickup from your hotel is included. The full day runs 7 to 8 hours.
