The drive from Batumi takes 30 to 40 minutes to reach the first stop at the Kibura waterfall, where the Adjaristskali and Chorokhi rivers meet. The final stop is a family wine cellar set against views of the Adjara mountains. Here you taste six types of homemade wine, vodka, chacha and cognac, paired with traditional Georgian food. A Tamada, a traditional toastmaster, leads the meal and a folklore performance unfolds as part of the experience. The cellar is run by a Georgian family that produces all the wines on-site. Nothing here is commercial theater. The return drive to Batumi takes about an hour.
