Segway tour Paris at night: illuminated monuments
Ride through Paris's night lights and hear the stories behind them
A 2-hour Segway ride through illuminated Paris starting at sunset, with a certified guide leading an 8-kilometer route past the Eiffel Tower, Champ de Mars, the New Russian Orthodox Church and other landmarks. Safety instruction happens on-site near the Champ de Mars before you ride; helmets, gloves, raincoats and other weather gear are included. The guide shares anecdotes about each monument, and the tour builds in photo stops both on and off the Segway.
The Experience
You'll meet near the Champ de Mars, where a certified instructor walks you through the basics—balance, steering, braking—before you head into the streets. The timing shifts with the season so the ride catches the monuments as their lights come on at dusk. An 8-kilometer loop takes you past the Eiffel Tower, the New Russian Orthodox Church, and other Paris landmarks, each one lit and each one a stopping point for photos and the guide's stories about what you're looking at.
The Segway itself comes ready: helmet (required), front bag for your things, and if the weather turns cold or wet, gloves, a raincoat, windbreaker or fleece—all included. In winter, the handlebars have anti-cold sleeves. You're riding, not walking, so two hours covers ground that would take much longer on foot, and the stops let you step off to frame shots or just stand and look without the rush.
The guide speaks English or French and knows the anecdotes that make the monuments stick in your head instead of just passing by. Public transit is nearby if you need it to get to the meeting point, and the route stays in the streets where the lights are.

Is this one for you?You ride the Segway yourself—not a tour where you sit and watch—so it suits anyone comfortable balancing on a motorized platform for two hours. The shared group format and fixed schedule mean you're moving with other riders and a guide, which works well if you want the stories and the company; if you prefer to explore alone or set your own pace, a self-guided rental would be different.
