The experience

Muriel Gueth runs an independent organic vineyard in Colmar and leads this tasting herself. You start with a stroll through the vineyards to understand how she works the land: she'll explain the organic practices and environmental choices that shape her wines. The walk moves into a behind-the-scenes tour of the estate (the winemaking, storage and bottling facilities), where she shares how her approach differs from conventional methods, focusing on bringing out delicate, fruity aromas rather than heavy extraction.

The tasting is bespoke: you choose seven organic Alsace wines from her single-vineyard selections, and Muriel guides you through them with genuine conversation and exclusive advice. Each wine comes with a slice of Alsatian kougelhopf and crackers. Part of the tasting includes a comparison of how two different terroirs shape the character of the same grape, so you see the land's influence on the glass. This is not a standardised tour. It is a personal encounter built around what you want to taste and what she wants to share.

You can buy any of the wines on site or arrange delivery to your home. The experience runs two hours and welcomes children from age one. Minors under eighteen receive grape juice instead of wine. A guide fluent in English, French or German leads the tasting, so you can book in the language you speak.
