The Experience
The tour starts with hotel pickup in an air-conditioned vehicle and a safety briefing before you ride. You then spend 1.5 hours quad biking across the golden dunes and rock formations of the Sinai Desert. The pace is set by the route itself — you are riding your own bike, not watching from a seat — and the instructor leads the group through the terrain.
As the light changes, you stop at Echo Mountain for the sunset. This is the photo moment the tour is built around: the dunes lit from the side, the sky shifting color, and time to stand still for a few minutes before heading to the camp. Once it is dark, you arrive at the traditional Bedouin camp, where you take a camel ride with a photo stop, then sit down to a BBQ buffet dinner with freshly baked flat bread and herbal tea. The live show — Tanoura spinning and a fire performance — happens under the open sky while you eat.
The whole day runs five hours from pickup to drop-off. Quad biking requires a minimum age of 16 to drive; younger children can ride as passengers with an adult. The tour includes all entrance fees, water, and the guide and instructor — gratuities are not required. A Bedouin scarf is optional; you can bring your own or purchase one on-site.

Is this one for you?Book this tour if you want to ride your own quad bike rather than watch from a vehicle, and if an evening that moves through three different activities — biking, sunset, and dinner with a show — suits your schedule better than a single-focus excursion. The 1.5-hour ride is the centerpiece; the camel ride and camp are the second half, so you are doing, not just seeing.

Can I ride the quad bike if I have never done it before?
Yes. A safety briefing and instruction from a desert guide happen before you ride, and the 1.5-hour route is led by the instructor — no prior experience is needed. You must be at least 16 years old to drive the quad bike.
What is Echo Mountain and why do you stop there?
Echo Mountain is a dramatic rock formation in the Sinai Desert where the tour pauses to watch the sunset. It is the photo stop built into the evening, timed so you arrive as the light is changing.
What kind of food is served at the Bedouin camp?
Dinner is a BBQ buffet with freshly baked Bedouin flat bread, herbal tea, and grilled meats and vegetables. The meal is eaten at the camp while the live show — Tanoura spinning and fire performance — takes place around you.
Is hotel pickup included in all the tour options?
Hotel pickup and drop-off in an air-conditioned vehicle are included in your option. The tour offers six different options combining quad biking, camel rides, stargazing, and buggy rides; confirm which one you have selected at checkout.
How long does the quad biking part last?
You ride for 1.5 hours across the Sinai Desert dunes and rock formations. The full tour is five hours from hotel pickup to drop-off, which includes the safety briefing, the Echo Mountain sunset stop, the camel ride, dinner, and the live show.
What should I bring or wear for quad biking in the desert?
Wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt to protect from the sun and dust. Bring sunscreen and sunglasses. A Bedouin scarf is optional for sun and dust protection; you can bring your own or purchase one at the camp.
