Between dives and after the second one, you have time to snorkel from the boat's deck or simply rest on the open balcony while the crew prepares lunch. The whole outing runs seven hours from pickup to drop-off. Can I go snorkeling instead of diving on this trip?

Yes, the Snorkeling Only option lets you stay on the boat and in the shallows with snorkel gear while divers descend. You still get the seven-hour boat trip, lunch, the guide and all the same stops. The difference is you don't use the diving equipment or go below the surface.

What happens if I've never dived before?

The Beginners Divers option is built for first-time divers. Your guide provides a full briefing and stays with you during both dives, controlling depth and pace so you're never in over your head, literally or figuratively. No certification is required beforehand.

Is the transfer from my hotel included in the price?

Pickup and drop-off from Hurghada hotels are included. If you're staying in Makadi or Sahl Hasheesh, there's a EUR 5 transfer fee per person. From El Gouna or Safaga, it's EUR 10 per person. You can arrange your own transport to the dive center if you prefer.

The guide chooses dive sites based on daily conditions, so if one reef is too rough, you'll go to a calmer site instead. The trip runs in most weather. The boat has a covered area and the guide will let you know before pickup if conditions mean a cancellation.
