How do you get to the pyramids without arranging your own transport? The tour picks you up from your Cairo hotel in an air-conditioned car and handles all the entry fees to the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx area. A professional Egyptologist guide meets you there and walks the sites with you, sharing the history and stories behind each monument. The guide speaks English or Spanish, depending on which option you book.

The core tour covers four main stops: the Great Pyramid of Giza (one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and the only one still standing), the Pyramid of Menkaure (the third pyramid at Giza), and the Great Sphinx of Giza. You move between them at your own pace with the guide, who brings context to what you're standing in front of. If you want to go inside the Great Pyramid or enter the third pyramid itself, you add that at checkout. Both come with entry and are included in the all-inclusive options. Saqqara, another pyramid complex, is also available as an add-on.

The tour runs between four and five hours from pickup to drop-off. Infants and small children can come along in a pram or stroller. The pace is moderate. You're walking between sites and standing for periods at each one, so a reasonable level of fitness helps. Water is provided throughout.
