The Experience

The day starts at 8am with pickup from your Cairo or Giza hotel. You head straight to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which holds over 250,000 genuine artifacts spanning 5,000 years—the largest collection of Egyptian art in the world. The Tutankhamen exhibit is the centerpiece: treasures, gold and jewelry that sat buried in his tomb for 3,500 years before excavation in 1920. Your guide walks you through the galleries and explains what you're standing in front of, which is the difference between walking past objects and understanding why they matter.

After the museum, you move to Salah El Din Citadel, built in 1183 AD. Inside it stands the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha, constructed in the 19th century—a shift in scale and era that the guide helps you track.
