Private Sunset Snorkeling & Fishing Charter: Costa Rica Open Bar
Your own boat, your own schedule, your own catch
A private yacht charter in Costa Rica where you snorkel, fish and swim during a four-hour sunset sail with a captain and crew aboard. The boat holds up to 20 guests, includes snorkeling and fishing gear, a full open bar, lunch and snacks. You choose the departure time and which beaches or islands to visit from options around Tamarindo, Playa Grande, Playas del Coco and nearby coastlines.
The Experience
You're chartering Lupo II, a 20-passenger yacht with two bedrooms, a full galley and a comfortable salon. The boat is yours for the afternoon or morning — you pick the time, and Captain Luis and the crew plan the route based on where you want to go and what you want to do. The open bar runs throughout the day with beer, wine, spirits, sodas, juices and bottled water; the galley chef prepares a menu of slow-cooked beef barbacoa, fresh sashimi, caprese salad, guacamole with chips, chimichurri, tropical fruits and chocolate cookies, with snacks available whenever you want them.
Once you're on the water, snorkeling gear and fishing rods are ready to use. You can drop anchor at any of the reefs or islands the crew knows — they'll point out the marine life and help you into the water, or you can cast a line if that's what you came for. The boat also carries paddle boards for anyone who wants to explore shallower spots, and there's time for swimming at whatever beach the crew suggests. The sunset happens over the ocean, and you watch it from the deck with a drink in hand.
The crew speaks English, Spanish and Italian, and they're trained in safety and first aid. The boat is wheelchair accessible, and families with infants, small children and service animals are welcome. Because this is your private charter, celebrations and special occasions are part of what they do — birthdays, anniversaries, proposals all happen on the water here.
