The experience

The boat leaves Playa Flamingo and heads into the Gulf to fish. You'll cast for mahi-mahi, black tuna, mackerel, marlin and rooster fish with equipment provided. While you're fishing, the guide watches for whales and dolphins. They're most common from July to November. The captain and guide handle the boat. You decide when you've had enough fishing and want to move on.

After fishing, the boat takes you to a beach with clear water where the real choice begins. Snorkel the shallows, try the tube behind the boat, strap into water skis, or wakeboard. The guide brings all the gear. You're not locked into a schedule. If you want an extra hour in the water, you take it. If the tide is low, the guide can run you to tidal caves to explore. High tide opens up a mangrove tour instead. Beverages, beer, wine, guacamole, pico de gallo, chips and fresh fruit come aboard.

Pickup from your hotel is included. The guide speaks English or Spanish. The boat holds your group and moves at whatever rhythm keeps everyone happy: no rushing through stops, no waiting for stragglers.
