The Experience
The longest line stretches a full kilometer, and five of the nine cables run between 425 and 750 meters, suspended 75 to 150 meters above the canopy. You clip in with full safety gear—harness, helmet, carabiners—and the guide briefs you on technique before the first drop. The course is not a series of short hops; it is a sustained descent through the forest, each cable longer and higher than the last, with views of a waterfall cutting through the landscape as you move between platforms.
Between each zipline comes a fairly intensive hike through the cloud forest to the next platform. This is not a passive ride-and-walk; the terrain is uneven and the elevation changes, so come prepared for real exertion. The superman lines flip you horizontal face-down over the canopy, the rappel lowers you down a vertical drop, and the mega Tarzan swing launches you out over a gap before swinging back. All of it is woven into a single 4.2-kilometer run that takes roughly three hours from start to finish.
Private transportation picks you up from your hotel 30–50 minutes before your start time—the exact window comes in a confirmation email—and brings you back after the tour ends. The guide speaks English or Spanish, and children from age 7 can join if they meet the weight requirement (minimum 110 pounds, maximum 253 pounds for the main course).
