The experience
Twenty hours of training over the week means you're working with the masters daily, learning the foundational movements and theory that connect Tai Chi and Qigong to Chinese wellness practice. The curriculum covers Qigong and Tai Chi history, body stretching techniques, the Eight Brocade Qigong sequence, and ten easy Tai Chi forms: each one building on the last so the postures flow without pause. The instruction is tailored to your own goals, whether you're coming to deepen an existing practice or starting from scratch.
Weekends are yours to step back from training. You can rest and regenerate at the center, or explore the local attractions, culture, and nature nearby. This rhythm lets you absorb what you've learned while also getting a real sense of the place and the people around you. The center is well-positioned with pleasant weather and public transportation options nearby, so moving around the region is straightforward.
Your seven nights include accommodation, breakfast, lunch, and dinner: a mix of Chinese cuisine alongside familiar comforts so you can focus on the work. The award-winning masters teach in English, and you'll have time between sessions to discuss the deeper theory of Tai Chi and life with other students. You leave with a certificate of completion and the forms and techniques you've practiced embedded in your body.
Is this one for you?Pickup is included, so you don't need a car or prior knowledge of how to reach the center. The fixed schedule (training on weekdays, free time on weekends) works well if you want structure during the day but space to rest and explore on your own.
