The route takes roughly 2.5 to 3 hours on foot, moving through residential streets and up to the higher points where the views open out.

The stops matter because they are where the neighborhood's actual life happens. Sitiê Ecological Park was a dump. Locals transformed it into a vegetable garden and environmental education space. The Olympic Village sits visible from above, and the graffiti court shows work by local artist Tarm1 and others who have painted the walls. Arvrão is the high point: a place with bars like Bar da Laje and Mirante do Arvrão where residents gather, and the panoramic view stretches across Rio.
