The experience
The tour starts with pickup from your hotel and a drive to the Argentine park, where your guide shares regional history and stories along the way. Once you arrive, a 4 km walk on metal passages takes you through the lush forest with strategic stops to stand in front of the falls from different angles. The metal walkways let you get close to the water and the spray without scrambling over rocks.
Between the two countries, you cross the Tancredo Neves International Bridge on foot, a vantage point where you can see into Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay at once. On the Brazilian side, you have free time to eat lunch at Porto Canoas, a food square with several vendors, then walk a 1 km trail that ends at a wide overlook where the falls spread across your view. The whole day runs about nine to ten hours from pickup to return.
The guide speaks English and Spanish throughout, and the vehicle is air-conditioned. Park entry fees for both countries are separate and paid on arrival, as is any optional boat tour or additional activities. The tour is built for mixed fitness levels, and families with small children can bring a pram or stroller on the Argentine side.

What's the difference between the Argentine and Brazilian sides of Iguaçu Falls?
The Argentine park puts you on metal passages that run close to the water and the base of the falls, so you feel the spray and see the cascades from below and at eye level. The Brazilian side offers a wider panoramic view from a higher vantage point where you can see the whole system of falls spread across the landscape.

How much walking is involved across the two parks?
You walk 4 km on the Argentine side on metal passages with stops built in, then 1 km on the Brazilian side to reach the panoramic viewpoint. Both trails are on established paths, and the tour suits all fitness levels.
What happens when we cross the Tancredo Neves International Bridge?
You cross the bridge on foot between the two parks. It is a pedestrian crossing with views of the Paraná River and the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, and it is part of the route between the two national parks.
Is hotel pickup included, and do I need to arrange my own transport?
Hotel pickup is included in the tour. The guide will collect you from your accommodation in an air-conditioned vehicle and return you at the end of the day, so you don't need to arrange separate transport to the parks.
Are the park entrance fees included in the tour price?
