The experience
The day starts at Iguazu National Park with skip-the-line entry via your own transport. A 1.5km trail cuts through Atlantic Forest to the waterfall overlooks, ending at the Devil's Throat pass where you feel the spray from one of the world's seven natural wonders. The guide walks with you the whole way and can help arrange optional add-ons: a boat trip (Macuco Safari) that takes you into the falls themselves, or a helicopter ride for a panoramic view, though you pay those tickets directly at the site.
After the falls, you move to the largest bird park in Latin America. Over 1,000 birds representing 130 species live here, most rescued from wild bird trafficking. The immersion aviaries let you walk inside their space rather than viewing from outside a barrier. You move through the Atlantic Forest setting on foot, and the guide stays with you to point out what you're seeing.
Air-conditioned transport, bottled water and the guide are included. The park entry fees are not: the national park ticket runs R$130 per person, and the bird park is R$110 per person depending on which option you book. Infants and small children can travel in a pram or stroller, and the pace suits all fitness levels.
What’s included
