The experience
The tour splits the two countries' vantage points across two days so you're not rushing between them. Argentina's side on day one starts with the Eco Train ride through lush forest to Devil's Throat Station, then a 1.2 km walk to the edge of Devil's Throat itself, where 80-meter waters plunge with force. From there you move to the Upper Trail (a 2 km route with panoramic views from above, ideal for photos), and then the Lower Trail at 2.5 km, where you get close enough to feel the mist and hear the roar of the cascading water.
Day two takes you 12 km through the Atlantic Rainforest to Brazil's side, where the Falls Trail walk of 1.5 km descends 284 steps along a moderately challenging path. You pass views of over 250 waterfalls spread across 2.7 km of the riverbed. At the end, a bridge walkway takes you directly over the water for a close-up of Devil's Throat from this angle: 82 meters high and the most powerful fall. After that, you choose between a panoramic elevator or climbing 450 steps to reach the upper viewpoint for a full panoramic sweep of the entire falls. The day ends with a buffet lunch at Porto Canoas Restaurant.
The guide handles the pace and logistics so you're not checking a map or timing yourself between stops. Transport is included throughout, and the guide speaks English, Spanish or Portuguese depending on what you book. The tour is wheelchair accessible, and strollers are welcome for infants and small children.

Live guide in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
What's the difference between Argentina's side and Brazil's side of Iguazu Falls?
Argentina's side gives you the close, immersive experience: you walk right to the edge of Devil's Throat and the Lower Trail puts you near enough to feel the mist and spray. Brazil's side offers the panoramic view. You see over 250 waterfalls at once across 2.7 km and get an overview of the entire system from the upper viewpoint. This tour covers both in two days so you get both perspectives.
How much walking is involved each day?
Day one includes a 1.2 km walk to Devil's Throat, a 2 km Upper Trail, and a 2.5 km Lower Trail. Day two has a 1.5 km Falls Trail walk with 284 steps down, plus your choice of either taking a panoramic elevator or climbing 450 steps back up. The paths are well-maintained, and your guide sets the pace to match your comfort.
Does the tour include meals?
A buffet lunch at Porto Canoas Restaurant is included on day two after you finish the Brazil side. Day one meals are not included in the base tour, though your guide can recommend stops.
Can I do just one side of the falls instead of both days?
This listing is the 2-day tour covering both Argentina and Brazil. A single-day option on either side may be available as a separate booking. Check the purchase options at checkout.
