The experience

The day splits into two parts: a guided walk through Nassau's landmarks in the morning, then a long afternoon at Love Beach. Your guide shows you the historical buildings and explains the island's past while you stop at Atlantis for a walkthrough, taste rum cake samples at the factory, climb the Queen Staircase at Fort Charlotte, and sample wine and chocolate at the final factory stop. Pickup is included, and you travel by van, coaster bus or beach buggy depending on group size.

Love Beach sits on Nassau's western shore and is reserved for this tour. You're not sharing it with the general public. The 3-hour beach portion gives you real time to swim and snorkel without rushing. The beach provides free bathrooms and showers, rental chairs and umbrellas, and a bar where you can buy food and drinks. WiFi is free. Snorkeling gear is available to rent on-site if you don't bring your own, and the water here is clear enough to see what you're looking for.

The entrance fee to Love Beach is already in your tour price, so there's no surprise charge when you arrive. Bottled water comes with the tour.
