The experience
Eight wines, all grown on the Tintilla vineyard and made in the winery on the property. You're seated on the deck with the vineyard in front of you, and one of the estate's experienced staff guides you through the tasting while you work through the meat and cheese platter. The pairing is straightforward: local cheeses (Brie and Cheddar), two types of meat including homemade terrine and Branxton Butcher salami, seasonal condiments made on the estate, and sourdough from local bakers.
The tasting spreads beyond just wine. Tintilla also grows olives and makes its own oils. You'll taste those alongside a selection of seasonal jams, sauces and relishes, all produced on site. Everything is built around what the estate actually makes, so there's no imported filler or generic pairings. The whole experience runs about an hour.
