Eat while Sydney rotates beneath you, one full turn in 90 minutes

Skyfeast is a buffet dining experience at Sydney Tower Restaurant, the city's tallest building, where you sit by the window and watch Sydney rotate 360 degrees around you over the course of your meal. The buffet includes 30+ dishes across seafood, antipasto, salads, Asian, Mediterranean and hot stations, plus desserts and cheese; one drink is included for adults. Window seating is guaranteed, and the full rotation takes 90 minutes.

The Experience

You ride the lift 305 meters up to Sydney Tower Restaurant and step into a dining room that slowly turns. The windows frame Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and on clear days, the Blue Mountains — and because the restaurant rotates, every view changes as you eat. One complete revolution takes 90 minutes, which is the pace of your meal. The setup means you don't chase the sights; they come to you. Window seating is guaranteed, so you're not watching from the middle of the room.

The buffet works like an unlimited degustation: you move between food stations and build your own courses from what's there. The seafood station has freshly shucked Sydney rock oysters, tiger prawns, mussels and clams. There's antipasto with cured meats and pickled vegetables, a salad bar with seven rotating types, an Asian counter with dumplings and regional dishes, Mediterranean hot plates including a house-made three-cheese pasta, roasted meats from the butcher station, and a dessert spread of cakes, mousses and fresh fruit. A separate cheese selection comes with house-baked lavosh and pear and ginger chutney. You choose how many courses you want — three, five, ten — and plate it yourself as you watch the city turn outside.

The two booking options differ on timing and what's included. The Early Lunch package runs at a set time and doesn't include a drink; the Skyfeast Window option includes one drink for adults and gives you more flexibility on when you arrive. Both guarantee window seating and access to the full buffet. If you're a group larger than six, the restaurant will split you across multiple tables but you stay together in the same dining room. Arrive within 10 minutes of your reservation time — late arrivals are treated as cancellations.

Is this one for you?Book the Skyfeast Window option if you want the flexibility to choose your arrival time and prefer a drink included; the Early Lunch package suits a fixed schedule and works well for groups planning the rest of their day around a set time. Either way, window seating means you're not competing for views — the restaurant brings them to your table as it turns.

Top questions

What can I see from the Sydney Tower Restaurant windows?

The restaurant's windows frame Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the Blue Mountains on clear days. Because the restaurant rotates 360 degrees over 90 minutes, the view changes continuously as you dine — you don't need to move to see different parts of the city.

How many dishes are in the buffet?

The buffet includes 30+ dishes spread across eight stations: seafood (oysters, prawns, mussels, clams), antipasto, salads, Asian cuisine, Mediterranean hot dishes, roasted meats, desserts, and cheese with accompaniments. You can return to any station as many times as you like.

Do I need to book a specific time, or can I choose when I arrive?

You select a time slot when you book, and that's your confirmed reservation. You must arrive within 10 minutes of that time; late arrivals are treated as cancellations without refund. The two options offer different timing: Early Lunch runs at a set time, while Skyfeast Window gives you more flexibility.

Is a drink included in the price?

One drink for adults is included with the Skyfeast Window option. The Early Lunch package does not include a drink. Both options include the full buffet and window seating.

What if I have a food allergy?

You can request dietary accommodations when you book, but because the buffet operates with multiple food stations in a shared kitchen environment, Skyfeast cannot guarantee completely allergy-free dining experiences due to the potential for trace allergens in the working space and supplied ingredients.

Can I add tickets to the Sydney Tower Eye observation deck?

Observation deck tickets are not included in the Skyfeast dining package, but you can purchase them separately if you want to visit the Sydney Tower Eye before or after your meal.
