A four-hour cooking class in Goolwa where you prepare starters, mains and desserts in a private kitchen, then sit down to lunch with wine and coffee. You choose the menu — vegetarian, bread-making, fine dining, cheese, pastry or a fully custom class — and take home a recipe booklet to recreate the dishes at home. Minimum age is 25; the guide speaks English and German.

The Experience

You arrive to refreshing beverages and samples of the host's cooking, then move into the kitchen to learn how to build the dishes you've chosen. The class runs four hours and covers a full menu: starters, mains (with or without meat) and desserts. If you have dietary restrictions or want to focus on a specific cuisine — vegetarian, bread, cheese, pastry or fine dining — you tell the host beforehand and the class adapts. This is not a demonstration; you're the one handling the ingredients and the techniques.

After cooking, you sit down to a proper lunch featuring everything you've just made, plus a few surprises from the host's kitchen. Wine is included to complement the food. The whole experience is built around what you've created, not what someone else prepared in advance.

At the end you take home a recipe booklet so you can cook the same dishes again. Coffee and tea round out the meal.
