A guide meets you at your hotel, and from there the day moves through the neighborhoods where Buenos Aires actually happens. You start at Plaza de Mayo, where the Casa Rosada presidential palace faces the square that witnessed the 1810 revolution, then head into San Telmo: the old bohemian quarter where tango was born, its winding streets lined with antique shops, galleries and street murals.
