The experience

Tigre sits an hour north of Buenos Aires, and the tour starts there with a one-hour boat ride through the fifth-largest delta in the world. You navigate narrow rivers lined with small islands, learning about the flora and fauna that thrive in the waterways. After the boat returns, you walk through Tigre's museums and have free time at Puerto de Frutos, the city's most established craft fair, where vendors sell handmade goods and local wares.

The drive back to Buenos Aires takes you through San Isidro before entering the city proper.
