The experience
You arrive at the winery and step into a cooking studio where snow-capped peaks frame rows of Malbec vines. A charcuterie board of local cold cuts and cheeses waits with a glass of white wine. Then Flor walks you through the recipes, not as a demonstration, but as hands-on work. You chop fresh herbs for chimichurri, shape empanadas from scratch, melt provoleta until it's gooey, and sear steak a la pomarola over heat until it's smoky and tender. Between dishes, you taste small-batch olive oils from the valley and sip the winery's Reserve Malbec.
The four hours move through the cooking and the eating together. Once everything is ready, you sit down to a leisurely lunch of the dishes you've made: the empanadas, the grilled steak with crispy herb-infused fries, the provoleta. A curated cheese board arrives with silky dulce de leche. You finish with homemade alfajores and Fernet con Cola, Argentina's traditional digestif. Wine pours continue throughout.
Groups stay small so everyone gets personal attention and room to work. If you have dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free), the kitchen accommodates them. The winery's 5-Star Guarantee means if the experience doesn't live up to five stars, you don't pay the full price. A guide leads the class in English, Spanish or Italian, depending on what you choose at checkout.
