The experience
Your guide and driver meet you at the port at a time you choose to match your ship's schedule. You get ninety minutes to explore with your personal guide, who explains the history of each temple and helps you photograph them.
After My Son, you head to Hoi An for a local lunch, then walk the ancient town with your guide. The Japanese covered bridge, the symbol of Hoi An, gets its history explained. You also visit a traditional commercial house, the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall and a cultural and historical museum. The walking tour covers the core of what makes the town recognizable, and your guide shapes the pace to fit the time left before you need to return to the port.
