The day starts with pickup from your Hanoi hotel at 5:30 AM, followed by a ferry and car ride to Cat Ba Island. By 8:30 AM you're on the boat cruising Lan Ha Bay, passing Cai Beo Fishing Village and thousands of limestone karst towers. At 10:30 AM you get into the kayak. The real work begins. You paddle through K.A Cave and Bats Cave, navigating hidden lagoons, tunnels and archways that larger tour boats cannot reach. This is where the bay opens up differently than the crowded Ha Long Bay routes.

At noon the boat anchors at Ong Cam islet for a traditional Vietnamese lunch. You have free time to swim, jump off the boat, or simply rest on deck before the afternoon paddle. Afterwards the boat sails toward Southern Ha Long Bay, passing Dau Be Island, Vung Vieng fishing village, and distinctive rock formations like Le Virgin Arch and The Kite Arch. By 2:30 PM you're back in the kayak for a second session, this time at Ba Trai Dao Beach. A natural, remote and quiet stretch where you can explore the temple beach and more lagoons.
