If you want a day that mixes mountain views, history, and a little adventure, this tour covers it all. You’ll ride Vietnam’s famous cable car, walk the Golden Bridge, and get real stories from your guide along the way.
The morning air in Da Nang always feels a bit cooler as you head west toward Ba Na Hills. Our driver picked us up right at the hotel—no fuss—and before long we were winding up into the mountains. The cable car ride is something else: you’re gliding above thick jungle, clouds drifting below your feet, and then suddenly that wild Golden Bridge appears, those huge stone hands poking out of the mist. I grabbed my phone for a photo but honestly, it’s one of those things you just have to see for yourself.
After wandering across the bridge (it gets busy mid-morning, so early is best), our guide led us down to these old French wine cellars tucked away underground. There’s a faint earthy smell—kind of damp stone and wood—and he explained how they used to distill alcohol here back when the French were around. You can almost picture people huddled inside during rainy afternoons. Later, we took a slow walk up Chua Mountain; it’s not too tough but you’ll want comfy shoes. The view from the top stretches all the way back to Da Nang city on a clear day. We stopped by Linh Ung Pagoda—the Buddha statue is massive—and there’s this peaceful hush even with other visitors around.
Yes, lunch is included—our group had local Vietnamese dishes at a restaurant in Ba Na Hills.
There’s some gentle hiking up Chua Mountain and walking around the attractions, but nothing too strenuous. Most ages can handle it.
Yep! Entrance fees for both are covered in your booking.
This tour works well for all ages—there are games for kids at Fantasy Park and plenty of spots to rest if needed.
You’ll get hotel pickup and drop-off in an air-conditioned vehicle, entrance tickets to Ba Na Hills and most games at Fantasy Park, bottled water, lunch with local flavors, and an English-speaking guide who knows their stuff. Specialized infant seats are available if you need them—just let us know ahead of time!
