The experience

The day starts with a 40-minute drive from your hotel to the White Sand Dunes, where you board a quad bike for a 60-minute ride to the top. Sunrise or sunset, whichever you choose, transforms the sand into shades of gold and orange, and the vast, undulating landscape feels like a mini Sahara. After the dunes, the jeep takes you to Lotus Lake for photos, then stops at a scenic coastal viewpoint before moving to the Red Sand Dunes, where the sand shifts between red and yellow depending on the light.

The fishing village comes next: you'll spend 20 minutes at the market watching local fishermen bring in their catch and seeing the day's fresh seafood laid out for sale. Then comes Fairy Stream, a shallow waterway lined with red rocks and greenery where you walk for about 40 minutes. The jeep returns you to your hotel at the end.

Cold water, juice and smoothies are provided throughout. If you want to ride the quad bike yourself instead of sitting behind the driver, that's a separate charge (800,000 VND per bike for 20 minutes). If you prefer to ride as a passenger, the cost is 300,000 VND per person. Sandboarding on the dunes is also available for an additional fee.
