The experience

The day begins with a drive down Baja's coast to Rosarito, where you stop at a family-run taquería for two fresh fish or shrimp tacos and a small drink. From there, the van takes you into Valle de Guadalupe to visit three boutique wineries. At each stop you taste premium wines (reds, whites and rosé), while the guide walks you through the winemaking process. The second winery is where lunch happens: a spread of tapas-style shareable plates made with local ingredients, with vegetarian and vegan options built in.

The van itself is part of the day: air-conditioned, stocked with cold beer and bottled water, and designed so you can relax between tastings instead of driving yourself. You get roughly 10–12 wine tastings across the three stops, enough to see the range without the blur. The route and timing are fixed, which means the day holds together: you're not deciding where to go next or when to eat, and you're not negotiating with drivers or wineries about what comes when.

Public tours run on Saturdays and require a minimum of six guests. If the group doesn't fill, Baja Society Tours will contact you about rescheduling, joining another group, or getting a full refund. The price includes everything except tips. If you're coming from the US side, pickup and drop-off are available for an additional fee.
