At Alcantara Vineyards, you'll sit overlooking 20,000 vines, the Verde River and the grass picnic area where bald eagles sometimes pass overhead. One wine tasting flight per person is included, and the menu lets you choose which varietals to sample from their 17 options. The tasting room staff will confirm your ID at the door.

Lunch happens at Merkin Vineyards Tasting Room, an Italian wine bar where one entrée and one wine tasting flight come with the tour. The kitchen uses vegetables and herbs from Merkin's own Verde Valley greenhouses and orchards, and all pasta and bread are made from scratch: the menu shifts weekly depending on what's in season. The tasting room is vegetarian-friendly and handles vegan and gluten-free requests, though as a popular spot it can have a short wait even with your reservation held.

The third stop is Oak Creek or Javelina Leap Vineyards depending on availability that day. You'll get the wine tasting flight menu when you arrive and can sit inside or outside.
