Dancing Apache Ranch sits by a lake with live entertainment on weekends and lawn games on the veranda. Alcantara stands at the confluence of the Verde River and Oak Creek, surrounded by vineyards. The tasting rooms themselves range from outdoor patios to a newer Arizona room, and the atmosphere is built around leisure, not rushing. You taste at your own pace and move on when you're ready.

Because this is a private tour, the schedule bends to what you want. If you'd rather spend an extra hour at one vineyard or skip one entirely to visit Jerome (the old mining town perched in the hills), you can. Yes. Because this is a private tour, the itinerary is customizable. You and your guide can adjust the stops to match what you want to see. Jerome and the Chapel of the Holy Cross are both nearby and can replace a winery stop or add to the day if time allows.

What happens at each winery stop? Do I have to buy wine?

Each tasting room has its own style: some have outdoor patios, others have covered Arizona rooms, and a few sit on grounds with lake views or lawn games. You taste at your own pace and decide what to order. Tastings are not included in the tour price, so you pay only for what you choose to drink.
