The Experience

How does a wine tour work when you're not sure which wineries to visit or how much time to spend at each one? Zeus M handles that by asking what you're after—whether you want a relaxed afternoon or a deeper dive into the region—and building the route around it. You pick the start time; the guide arrives with a vehicle and takes you through Verde Valley's wine country without you navigating or driving between stops.

The day typically moves through four tasting rooms, each with its own setup. One sits on 327 acres with a log cabin tasting room overlooking Oak Creek, a pond, and a 1,400-year-old Cottonwood tree where you can swing; complimentary s'mores happen around the fire ring, and there's an animal area where you feed goats, a horse, and a mule. Another is a smaller boutique with outdoor seating. Javelina Leap, a gold and silver medal winner at San Francisco competitions, has an intimate tasting room in front and a larger venue in back. The stops and timing flex based on what your group wants—if you're lingering over wine and conversation, the guide adjusts; if you want to move through more tastings, that works too. Bottled or sparkling water comes with you throughout.

The guide is a Sedona resident with a licensed credential and speaks English or Spanish. They know the area's history—Native American, European, and the outdoor landscape itself—and can talk through what you're tasting or point out what makes each property distinct. You're not consuming alcohol in the vehicle, but you can purchase bottles at the wineries to take with you.

  • a licensed guide fluent in English or Spanish.
