The Experience

“Wait, is that a wild horse?” That’s how our morning started—our guide, Mike, just grinned and nodded like it was no big deal. We’d barely left the meeting point outside Scottsdale before the desert opened up: yellow dust kicking up behind the UTV, saguaro cactus everywhere, sky so wide it almost felt fake.
