The Experience

“You ever driven one of these before?” That’s what Chris asked me as he handed over the helmet at the Tonto National Forest trailhead. I’d barely managed to buckle my chin strap before he was already cracking jokes about how much dust we’d be eating. The best part? When we pulled up near Lost Dutchman State Park and just sat there in silence for a minute, looking at Weavers Needle poking up against the sky.
