The experience

Your guide picks you up and drives you through Los Angeles in a climate-controlled vehicle, hitting the major landmarks most visitors want to see. The route starts at Venice Beach and the Boardwalk, then moves to Santa Monica Beach and the Route 66 landmark at the Looff Hippodrome. From there you head inland to the La Brea Tar Pits and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, with a lunch break at the Original Farmers Market and The Grove shopping area.

The afternoon takes you through Hollywood proper: a walking tour of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the TCL Chinese Theatre with its famous celebrity hand and footprints, and the Dolby Theatre where the Academy Awards ceremony is held. You'll get a photo stop at the Hollywood Sign, then drive down the Sunset Strip from Hollywood into Beverly Hills, passing the music venues and hotels where celebrities regularly go. The tour ends at Greystone Mansion, a billion-dollar estate and famous filming location, and Rodeo Drive for high-end shopping.
