Most of these islands are only reachable by boat or kayak, so paddling is the only way in. You choose between a one or two-person kayak or a premium stand-up paddleboard, and the guide leads you through the route, stopping for about 30 minutes in the Thousand Islands area to point out wildlife and the history of the town.

The two-hour paddle is built for all fitness levels, and the operator provides everything you need: lifejackets, paddles for both kayaks and boards, and what they describe as the finest paddleboards in the world.
