The experience

The boat departs Bodrum and heads to Black Island, a Turkish island directly across the water. The journey there and back takes two hours total, leaving four hours for swimming, snorkeling and lunch in the three bays. Aquarium Bay comes first, named for the clarity of the water and the fish visible from the surface. You get a swimming break at each stop, time to try the snorkeling equipment or cast a fishing rod if that interests you. Lunch happens at the second bay: the crew cooks fish, chicken, meatballs, salad, mezes and rice or pasta fresh on board, depending on which menu you chose when you booked.

The third bay is either Rabbit or Red Bay. The captain decides based on wind direction that day. Both hold blue-flag status and sit among Bodrum's most photographed anchorages.
